Inaccurate waveforms when recording audio

I am currently having a problem where the waveforms for the audio I record on a particular session are coming out incredibly inaccurate. I am recording vocals through my M-Audio NOVA microphone through my M-Audio FireWire Solo. Although the vocals sound okay, for some reason the waveform looks like I have recorded something at max signal (showing basically a full waveform).

I want to point out this is the only session I have where this is an issue; every other session I have recorded audio the same way with no problems. Please see an example in the following screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/hsrBH.jpg

I am running the vocals through the aux input labeled VoxIn with the compressor/limiterDyn3 to the Audio track KyleVerse1, which is what I usually do when recording vocals.

From bars 1-4 I'm not saying anything into the microphone. At bar 5 I said test and began trying to speak just to show the problem. At bar 11 I started rapping and the waveform got even crazier.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? I really don't want to have to remake this session.

Hey for anyone interested just used the magic of google and found a fix. The problem had to do with zooming http://www.gearslutz.com/board/music...ulate-all.html.
