Default PT10.0.1 and CPTK only there's no CPTK features unlocked

Hi!

I have a strange problem. A while ago I have upgraded and moved from my 003 with PT10 and CPTK to HDX and PT10HD. As the 003+PT10+CPTK became "obsolete" I have given it to my friend who has just purchased a new MacBook.
So we installed (clean install) the 003 drivers and PT10 and then the PT10.0.1 upgrade. I had to transfer some of the licenses to my iLok but the licenses that remained on the 003 iLok were:
Complete Production Toolkit Digidesign License
Eleven LE Digidesign License
Maxim Digidesign License
Pro Tools 10+9 Bundle Digidesign Bundle
Pro Tools 10 Digidesign License
Pro Tools 9 Digidesign License
Pro Tools MP3 Export Digidesign License
Structure LE Digidesign Advanced Instrument Research Group
StructureContent LE Digidesign Advanced Instrument Research Group

The thing is that the CPTK features are not unlocked when launching ProTools. For example Disk Cache and VCA's are missing.

When I used 003 I started with PT8 LE and CPTK; so at that time I had to install CPTK from the disk. I then upgraded two times from PT8LE to PT9 and from PT9 to PT10. I always had the CPTK features available. This is however my first PT10 clean installation (not upgrade). Am I missing something here? I though that PT10 and Complete Production Toolkit licenses are all that is needed to unlock the CPTK features.

Thanks for any help; I'm really confused here.

Hmmm....
That's definitely not right.

CPTK functionality just happens in PT10 when the licence is available on an ilok. No further installation is necessary.

Could it be that the ilok with CPTK is not being seen properly... Drivers and client thingy up to date..?

Jp jp; all iLok sw was downloaded from iLok's webpage and installed on the day of the actual installation (1 week ago) so the iLok Client Installer (25 Jul 11) and iLok Driver Installer (11 Jul 11) are the latest ones.

Have you repaired permissions, deleted preferences, and whatever else there is in the troubleshooting sticky? If you have the CPTK license and PT10 software installed you should be good to go.

Hmmm haven't tried that .... haven't even thought of that to be honest. Thanx! I'll give it a try later today....

Isn't 10 not compatible with cptk? I thought you needed cptk II. I might have just made that up but I think that is the case.

No, that's not correct.

CPTK 1 is fully compatible with PT10.

Yes CPTK 1 is fully compatible (actually it's identical) to CPTK 2. I know as I had all these feature unlocked on my system on PT10 before I made the transition to PT10HD. It's only with this clean install that I have problems with. I'll give the "repair permissions" and "thrash PT prefs" a try; hopefully this will resolve the silly situation...fingers crossed!
