Need Upgrade Advice

Hi, I'm looking for advice on upgrading from PTII/PCI to PT24MIX. Is a G4/466 going to be waayyyy better than a G3 blue & white? Are my DSP farm cards worth updating for a G series Mac or should I bite the bullet and get a Mix farm? If I'm still running 7200 rpm drives, how high is my track count likely to be? What experiences have others had in this process that I might want to keep in mind? Thanks!
