Default using 2 digi002 mixers for surface control

i already have an 002 mixer/surface control , is it possible for me to add another surface control, such as another 002 mixer or a command 8 , where i have my first 002 to use to record in and surface control first 8 tracks and the second 002 or command 8 basically only surface control track 9-32..only control no need to use anything else (Like pre amps, monitoring, etc) ..thanks for any help, basically, im just trying to use my existing 002 mixer and control surface function and add another control surface and work both in same time..thank you
