Default How to move all tracks/clips at one time

I had a countdown ("two, three, four. ..") at the beginning of my first song in Pro Tools. I've deleted the countdown, but now my song has a 2 second space at the front. How do I select all tracks and clips at the same time and pull them over to the left/beginning of the timeline?

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul

Just select "All" and grab the whole song and move it to the beginning of the song. Either right click and use select all or goto the PT bar on top and use the Mark All or select all in English then grab one track and move it

If you use MAC then you can use cmd A to select all tracks.

That 2-second space at the beginning of the song is a non-issue IF you highlight EXACTLY THE AREA YOU WANT TO BOUNCE to disc. I do it all the time. We'll typically have four sets of four count clicks while we're tracking. Lots of reasons for that which I won't get into here, but you really don't have to move the whole session. Highlight first, then bounce.

Indeed^^^ I ALWAYS leave 2 bars at the front(and HATE it when there's not any space there). I recently had to move everything to the right because there was no space and the first note(probably a midi issue) was getting faded in on every BTD.

You can also chance the zero point, which is what I do when there's lead space before the "one" beat. Before that, transport shows you minus bars and it doesn't matter to me if there are plenty.
