DIGIDESIGN 003 RACK.MIDI stopped working

I am running Logic 9 on a Dual MacPro using Lion 10.7.3.
I use the Digi 003 as a standalone using Logic.

Before i updated to Lion i had the following problem, that just started randomly:

MY midi in/outs 1/2/3 do not detect my keyboard.
When I push any button on the front of the Digi 003 when I have a channel armed in Logic with Midi, the front buttons on the Digi 003 are now acting as triggers for the midi.
Each button I press triggers a different sound.
For some reason it is redirecting the signal.

i have deleted the standalone driver, and reinstalled it.
(version 8.03) Still no update for LION?
I had this problem before i installed LION and was running on Leopard.

I installed the Midi
and then the DigiDioMidiDriver_v90_Fix

I never installed these files before.

When I open Midi IO Setup, it says that the Digi 003 is not connected.
Even though the CoreAudio Manage is open and says it is connected.

In the past I don't recall having to open the Midi IO Setup app, as the midi worked immediately.

i hope there is someone who can help me, as I have a friend here who has flown all the way from Austria to work together, and right now we are trawling through forums trying to get this fixed. i feel like i am letting him down right now :/

I am going to try installing everything on another computer and see if the problem is still there.

I am also unsure if I have posted this in the correct place.

Deleted the Midi IO files in the Digidesign folder in Applications.
Restarted.
Midi 1 working again :)
Midi 3 is meant to work as in IN/OUT, but not working as an IN.
Any suggestions would be most welcome
