Line versus Inst
Can someone explain to me what the difference between the line versus inst source selections is? When should I be using one versus the other?
Thanks, Jeff |

Re: Line versus Inst
line is kOhms an inst is megaOhms impedance. The impedance of a target should be about 10x that of the source. Electric guitars need high impedance, ie MegaOhms ( inst level) and synths and typical outboard gear use line level impedance. Mics are often low impedance.
