VSTs in Pro Tools?
I have a VST plugin I would like to use in Pro Tools (the latest version), but I've found out Pro Tools doesn't support VSTs. Is there a way to still use VSTs in Pro Tools? I don't really know anything about Rewire, but I've heard it does cool stuff.

Re: VSTs in Pro Tools?
Hi, welcome to the community.
First you should investigate if the plugin has AAX version, it will run much better natively. But if it does not have, as said, you need a wrapper to host your VST. Bear in mind AAX automation features are not going to work in the VST

Re: VSTs in Pro Tools?
I use BlueCat Patchwork whenever I need to host a VST or VST3. That said, I always use AAX if it's available.
