Default Latest XPand II won't install.
Hi,

I currently have v2.2.6 on my MacBook Pro (Sierra 10.12.6) and have recently downloaded an update in the Application Manager.

However, when I "install" it, the package runs through to completion but the option in the Application Manager stays on "Install" instead of "Current" afterwards.

I can only Install it again over and over. I've tried logging out / in which does nothing.

Everything else is updated to latest.

Any ideas?

XPand!2 18.1 Installer (Mac) 1.12 GB

I am also experiencing this anomaly. This has been posted about in the main thread on 2018.1, but I can attest that on macOS Sierra 10.12.6, neither using Application Manager nor downloading the manual installer from my Avid account make this odd bug go away. The AM perpetually indicates that Xpand!2 needs to be updated despite many troubleshooting steps, including uninstalling and reinstalling Application Manager, and deleting both the Xpand!2 plug-in and its folder within the AIR Music Technology folder in the main OS X Applications folder prior to updating.

Default Is anyone having problems updating XPand II to version 2018.1?
Has anyone successfully updated Xpand!2 via the Application Manager?

Everything seems to have updated perfectly for me except for Xpand!2.

It installs, but then keeps insisting that it is still at version 2.2.6 and wants me to update to 2018.1

I looked in my Plug-Ins folder and the date for the Xpand!2.aaxplugin is Jan 8, 2018. It makes me think that maybe Avid just forgot to update the version #?

I'm on macOS 10.13.2

yeah it's a bug, xpand refuses to show it's up to date..

I ran the update and it killed it, AAE 30001 errors. Had to uninstall and was unable to revert back to the last version.

Why on earth we have to update some things from the Application Manager but other things from logging in to your account is beyond me.

If I hadn't seen this thread I wouldn't have even known about the X-Pand and First AIR Instruments Bundle updates.

You don't have to use both. All the updates are in your Avid Account. I never use the Application Manager.
