Will the blue MIDI I/O work with HDX?
I can't seem to find any information regarding the blue face Digi MIDI I/O with HDX? Does this unit have to be replaced along with the other blue interface hardware when upgrading to HDX? If so, what is qualified or are users having good luck with?

While I can't answer definitively, I would assume that the MIDI I/O will continue to be usable since Pro Tools uses native Mac and Win MIDI handling that the MIDI I/O is compatible with. Once the MIDI I/O drivers break in some forthcoming OS, then the MIDI I/O will cease to function.

Sorry to tell you but according to AVID not only will they discontinue support for the a legacy I/O's but also for the MIDI IO and the SYNC IO and even the Control 24. Since I have all this a hardware in my studio I'm screwed.
