Increasing the volume on a bounced song
Hi,
Without getting into all mastering techniques, is their an easy way within PT of increasing a mp3 volume when doing a bounce? Without massively increasing the volume of the Master track so it distorts? The mp3s I produce currently of my demo songs are significantly lower in volume than commercial songs - why is this? Also, if I do want to start getting into proper Mastering - what is a good entry level tool without getting into all the complexities? Rgds, Gary |

IMHO and the way I started was with ozone. You can't buy that bundle of tools cheaper.
Personally, I've moved on from ozone but there's some great presets to get you started until you feel confident making your own decisions. Even if you don't get ozone download the mastering with ozone user guide. It's applicable to mastering across the board and is a really easy and informative read.
