Default HELP!! NEXUS2 Compatibility on Protools8.0.4

Hello all,

I really need help here; I just dropped a lot of money on NEXUS2, I got the DVD and licensing key. I have installed the content, installed the updates, registered the license on the key, and NEXUS2 still does not show up in the instruments section of my plugins. I know this is RTAS compatible so there shouldn't be a problem. I have tried dragging the Nexus Content to my plug-ins alias folder in the Digidesign folder under applications with still no luck. Refx is terrible with support and still have yet to register into their system. I don't have time to sit around with this stuff, I want to get busy!! Can somebody please help me???

I have OS 10.5.8

Protools 8.0.4

yeah it works, using it right now.

Create a Stereo Instrument Track. Then in your Inserts go to Instruments and reFX Nexus 2.

If you still can find it, go to Setup, Preferences. And under DISPLAY, look for
Organize Plug In Menus by: And choose Category and Manufacturer. Then Look to your inserts (Stereo Instrument Track) and look for reFX.

If its NOT there then look in your DAE>Plug in Folder and make sure it is in there.

Check you have the nexus.dpm plugin in your plugins folder? The nexus content doesn't need to be in the plugins folder.I've been using nexus for a while now,one of my favourite synths. This has worked fine in pro tools for me.although i'm using it in VEPro at the moment.
