Hi .

So here we go ...

1st.

why the BSOD of dalwdm.sys ... on reboot / shutdown ?
how to fix ?

2nd.
why does PT LE 6.4 latest cs not allow playback even with highest buffer setting ?

any fix for this / all's well with REAPER ?

3rd.

Why can't I play back music from e.g. Youtube or mp3-files from hard disk, though DIGI001 is showing in Sound playback as the default device :

Digidesign Digi 001: Chan 1-2

but not showing in the Volume Tab (No Audio Device) ...;
ASIO 6.1.1 and WaveDriver 6.1.1 installed succesfully .

any fix for this as well ?

Not sure any version of LE6 will work past XP Service Pack 1(I see you have SP3). In all honesty, I'd say its time to come into the 21st century You are missing a tremendous number of improvements, features and performance with a 64 bit OS and PT software. Plus, there are literally dozens of interfaces you could now use that blow the 001 out of the water for sound quality

As with any Windows system, you are best off letting Windows us the on-board audio for all non-Pro Tools audio.
