Default Mbox Mini won't recognize Protools LE

Frustrated

System: Macbook Pro OS X
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1067 MHz DDR3

I have an Mbox Mini that I have been running Pro Tools LE 8.05 on for a while. I recently purchased a Maschine and was also using the Mbox Mini as its interface. Things were working fine for a couple of weeks. All of a sudden when I tried to open up Pro Tools I got an error message that says...

Unable to locate Digidesign Hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click ok when your hardware is ready.

Things I have tried:
* Checked to make sure cables are connected and working properly.
* Installed current upgrades PT 8 LE 8.05
* Installed current Mac updates
* Uninstalled and Reinstalled PT 8 LE Software

If anyone knows how I can correct this problem, Please Help!!!

Hi,

Does the light come on to confirm its connection?

what version of the operating system are you using?

Might need to install the driver from here...

Yes, the light on the Mbox comes on when I connect the usb to my mac. But, when I try to open Pro Tools is when I get the error messages. I will try to install drivers again.

Hi,

What operating software?

LE8 won't work with the very latest 10.8.x and doubt it will work with 10.7.x either. you will need to update to the latest version of PT

To just use the Mbox you can install the latest drivers for your OS
