Even better. Then I have two working iLoks for pro tools 10 for a while. I have a feeling my iLok 1 could break at any moment anyway, it's so loose in the socket. I have a spare ilok2 which i bought just to demo pro tools 11.

I don't want to commit to this new 'subscription plan' only to get to March 2015, realize that PT11 still isn't working well, or missing some AAX plugins i'm still waiting on... and then have to pay for a brand new license for a theoretical version 12/13 later than that. Infact I need to save up to renew my WUP, as well as pay my massey AAX fees which I'm not keen to do. I also love TruePianos and that won't go AAX any time soon I Don't think! Therefore I want to keep v10 as long as possible.

AVID say there will be 'deals' for previous customers, but there's nothing set in stone. I'd rather pay a few dollars now, and have the option to keep 10, and keep on the upgrade path.

When 12 comes out, will the key work for v 10, 11, and 12? Who knows. Feel free to talk me out of it, i'm all ears :)
