Pt 12.8.3 (4?)
This will be the dumbest question today. Bare with me, I'm old and PT user since 1999, and I still haven't figured out all that subscription/update plan thing. (although I have one..)
I have PT 12.8 and want to update it to 12.8.3 (or 4) since I'm on High Sierra and experience some bugs in 12.8 + High Sierra (importing audio for one). Q: Since I didn't update my Pro tools plan for the outrage of 999 USD, I don't get to update to 12.8.3? Cheers from Denmark |

Re: Pt 12.8.3 (4?)
The update plan would have been $399 USD to renew. Now it’ll be $999 USD since you let it expire. And that’s for the HD/Ultimate version. For regular ProTools it’s $99/$299.
And yes, no active plan means you don’t get that update unless your previous plan was up-to-date at the time of the release of the version you want to update to. So if your plan expired in Nov 2017 and 12.8.3 came out Dec 2017, you can’t get it but if your previous plan expired Jan 2018, you can get it.
