Re: Disable MIDI Program change??
Thank you to everyone who posted comments.
In short, I COULD tell my XV3080 to ignore program changes, but then everytime I open a new PT session, I would have to manually set every program change. Or I could send all the info once, then turn off program change messages. The point of all this is that I shouldn't have to. Digi should add a setting allowing program change to be sent ONCE...perhaps at the opening of the session, but not everytime it plays. Thanks, David

Re: Disable MIDI Program change??
Any news on this one?
Pro Tools 10.3.10. I am using Program Change to change programs on a Bricasti M7 but it is annoying it sends Program Change everytime you hit play...better only on bar 1. Is it still no way to disable program change for every play command? EDIT: In my case I could just use the Mute button on the channelstrip...after I had sent the initial program change to match the song.
