Default Future Software Updates?

I'm considering an MBOX Mini with ProTools Express and was wondering if there will be future software support?

Like for Apple's upcoming Mountain Lion?

Thanks

All updates are posted in the Technical Alerts section of the Forum.

HERE

Since Apple has not released Mountain Lion yet there would be no updates until 6-8 weeks (only a guess) after Mountain Lion comes out.

So I went ahead and bought this unit, MBOX Mini 3 with ProTools Express to replace my aging Mini 2 and ProTools LE 8.0.5.

So far, very impressed. The electronic guts of this thing must be greatly improved because it has a much "warmer" sound for the mic input. It also seems much improved in the output area as well. The build quality of the unit "feels" high end now, although it's bigger, so when I travel with it, I'll have less room in my carry on.

The big giant volume knob on the right side is certainly welcomed, hunting for the tiny one on the last model was a pain.

ProTools Express has everything I need for my 8-10 track productions, so nice job Avid!

Default Mountain Lion - Pro Tools Express

After reading this page:

Avid Software and Mac OS X 10.8 http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/c...-Mac-OS-X-10-8

It would seem this MacOS Update might get qualified much sooner than previous ones, given that AVID is not even warning against upgrading.

AVID: Does Pro Tools Express fall under the 10.2 release model?

Exclamation Re: Mountain Lion - Pro Tools Express

I want to reiterate the question asked here -- Is Pro Tools Express compatible with OS X Mountain Lion? If so, does this extend to v. 10.8.1?

I have upgraded to an iMac from a Windows PC and so my older version of Pro Tools will not work. However, before I buy Pro Tools Express i would like some certainty that it is going to work. Thanks

Default mp3 export with Pro Tools Express

I recently migrated to the Mac OS X (Mountain Lion) environment from Windows and, after trying to work with Audacity and other Mac "freebies", finally broke down and upgraded my mBox and ProTools with the new PT Express. I am a voice-over artist and work from my home studio. I tried to export to an mp3 and it was not an option. I researched and learned that mp3 export is not bundled with Express, so I purchased a license. However, it is still not showing up as an option. I tried to get PT Support on the line, and ended up waiting for 30 minutes to be told they would "call me back between 1p-5p." No call so far . . . Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
