Default adjusting region volume

I'm a Pro Tools LE newbie. How do I adjust volume levels to a selected region. I was doing some news narration and one of my re-take levels were way down.

And can anyone recommend a good third party manual for Pro Tools LE 6.4 (for Mac OSX)?
Thanks!
Chris

Default Re: adjusting region volume

The normal method(s) would be to use the AudioSuite Gain plug-in.. or the Trimmer Tools (F6) to change the gain with automation.
