Default Feedback please on new computer

Hi guys and girls

I'm researching which computer setup I should buy for a new project-studio. I need a fast processor for low latency midi-input with high track count. I will be connecting my RME BabyFace Pro to this new computer. I don't need a high i/o count.

I've made some choices on the basic specs on the website of a computer-supplier. Any feedback on the listed basic specs is welcome. I just want to make sure I'm not configuring a system that will be incompatible with the latest PT build or that will give me other problems I'm overlooking.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

Jorgo

You probably don't need the "x" version of the cpu, unless you plan on overclocking. Also, a 7,200 RPM spinner would suffice for your project drive. If you use a lot of VIs, your sample library could go on the second SSD.

I don't know if that cpu comes with a cpu cooler, but if you are overclocking, you will likely need an aftermarket cooler.

I would post this question in the i7 Builds thread. Maybe a Mod can move it?
