Slow startup / Slow opening sessions
Month old Mac Pro 2.66 Quad-core, 6gb ram, OSX. 10.6.2. PT 8.0.3 cs2.
Was working fine for about a month then the problem began today. Basically, it slows down to a crawl at "Building Edit Window" and the stages thereafter taking about 10-12 min to load/create a session. I've tried the suggestions in these other threads. http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=238950 http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=266695 (disabling spotlight, removing plug-ins, reinstalling my OS, reinstalling PT etc.) and the problem persists.
