Default EQIII CS2 Not recalling Q correctly.

Several instances of EQIII in a session I'm working on are not recalling their Q factors correctly.

The instances are of the 1band type, I haven't had time to see if this happens with 4band and 7band instances yet.

Here is one example,

Q=4.00

F=166.5dB

Gain= -4.5dB

When the session is reopened after saving, the Q factor is 0.57 ( the frequency and gain are correct ).

I only noticed this happening after I installed the most recent CS update.

Bearing this in mind I decided to trash EQIII from the plugin folder, reinstall the original EQIII release and update to the CS1 fix. This WORKED. It recalled the Q settings correctly... Phew!

I'm running Protools 6.9LE on Mac OS 10.3.9. I realise this OS is not officially supported, could this be the cause ?

10.3.9, while problematic in other areas, should not have any bearing on the issue you were having.

So everything is working correctly now, yes?

Yes, everything seems fine now I've reverted to the CS1 update.
I've been working all day since I found the problem this morning and haven't noticed it happen since.

I don't use latch mode that often when automating, so hopefully I won't miss the fixes in CS2 that much.
