can't reinstall protools LE

I'm trying to reinstall protools on my computer. I've had it on this computer before (and then it crashed and got fixed), but now when I select "modify" from the menu of things to do, it begins loading everything but stops around 40% with the following error:

Component: Program Files
File Group: PT Folder Icon
File: <iconPath>\
Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

Can anybody help me?

I tried that too. The tool bar came up that said it was processing, then went away after one second and said "maintenance complete"... and I can't find protools anywhere on the computer. It doesn't really install it. And I can't seem to really remove it either. Even when I go to "Add/Remove programs" and try to get rid of it there, it will still be listed under the programs, even after restart. (but it's not in Program Files or anything)
