PTLe as master when mixing?
I use an external AD converter when tracking instruments to PTLe. PTLe is setup as slave and the AD as master clock. Do I have to change PTLe to master clock when mixing (when I'm not tracking thru the AD converter)?

Re: PTLe as master when mixing?
No, but you can use it for analog gear.
Depends on what it is though? I use my Rosetta all the time for Inserts, etc when mixing. Doc

Re: PTLe as master when mixing?
It doesn't matter. With the system set to external clock, with the external A/D on it just uses the external clock to govern the playback. Even with the external A/D off, the bounce is done on a first-come-first-serve basis, so it shouldn't affect the bounce.
