Midi question
I have a software instrument with tons of guitar riffs on it. You first record midi and bounce to audio. Although it syncs with Tools' tempo, you have to hit a note on the midi keyboard at just the right moment in order for it to work. Quantizing doesn't control it.
In the manual for the software, they say the following: "On your MIDI track where you have the SFG, look for a setting where you can change the Delay of the track. Then set this Delay to a negative value (choose something shorter than a 1/32 note). This way, the plug-in gets information ahead and can make sure chords come in at the right time." My question is, where is this setting that they talk about to change the delay of the track? It's a new one on me. Thanks! |

Re: Midi question
I may have found it. If it is NOT in the MIDI clock section, let me know. I was trying to find it in the PT Reference Guide and it seems to be what makes sense.

Re: Midi question
View>edit window views>midi realtime properties
Now there will be a button on the track where you can delay or advance the midi information by either ticks or milliseconds |
