Default Import syncing timecode stamped audio in Pro Tools?

Hi,

I record audio on film sets so I always generate TC on my audio tracks for editors to sync.

I'm aware that video editing software can sync this audio to "time of day" upon import based on the timecode burned into the metadata. Can Pro Tools do this too?

How can I sync audio via 'time of day's timecode metadata into Pro Tools' timeline?

Use the "spot" dialog and spot to "original timestamp".
