Lowest buffer setting available for Mbox 3 in Windows XP?
can anyone confirm the lowest buffer setting in Windows XP?
XP SP3 (specifically) no Windows 7. Mbox 3 Standard USB 2.0 thank you so much.

I believe all the USB interfaces only go down to 128 on Windows.

I can attest that the MBox 2 with 8.0.5 on XP-Pro sp3 can go as low as 64 and as high as 4096.
I'm sorry, I don't know about the Mbox 3.

that's what i like about the mbox2.
but i've been thinking about the 3rdGen to get 2 usables pres for a total of 4. but if mbox3 only goes down to 128, is not worth it. i'd rather prefer to keep my mbox2 with my external A/D.

Win7.
The Avid mBox offers 128 as it's lowest that I can see. It's probably related to the DSP and Control Console that it now use.

I have XP Windows Service Pack 3 but I only have the Mbox 3 Mini. It can go down to 128
I have the Mbox 3 Control Panel installed so the best I can do is the screenshot of it: http://i50.tinypic.com/23lefkj.jpg
