Thanks Tom ... looking good + well done! The Pro Tools world is really starting to pick up after a bit of a dodgy spell, with hardware and software products that stand comparison against anything else on the market and that users will genuinely be keen to try/buy.

Suggested companion for 'The Dock' to add to the hardware wishlist: S3-quality, controller only (no interface, etc. - keep costs down, target the Artist Mix customer), with tilted top section to match dock in a 'studio' application, as opposed to S3's flat 'live' approach.

With so many users' Pro Tools setups (like mine) basically including only Avid software (I happen to have an Eleven Rack too), it would be great to see more integrated Pro Tools rigs in smaller/home studios too (where HD is irrelevant and hardware cost is so important) ... and this would surely help retain customers and their upgrade plans?!

Keep up the good work guys! :)

I received my Dock today, and I love working with this unit together with my S3 :)
The iOS app is also great!

I hear it takes up more space than pictures are showing, like it might take up your entire desk if it's a home setup. am i correct?

When you get time, could you please post more of your opinions / impressions? I suspect I may not be the only one who will likely first see the Dock if/when I purchase a Dock.

Build quality and responsiveness are two of the things I'm curious about. Does it feel like an S3 extension? Can you compare with the Artist units? Etc.

If you get time, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Andy

If they can truly nail the functionality and reliability of the iPad app, this looks to be an impressive unit! If what I said above holds true, I will definitely be purchasing one of these!

It's about the size I expected. Placed on the Dock is my iPad Air on this picture from my studio.

If you're able to, would you mind showing a closeup picture of how the iPad connects to the dock? Thanks!
