Default MIDI Play Lists

I know this has been discussed before. Can someone at Avid say whether or not we'll ever have the ability to create MIDI playlists on a MIDI or Instrument track like we can Audio playlists now? It would sure be a helpful feature to have.

AFAIK, we can already create/duplicate playlists on MIDI and instrument tracks. Or, I may not figured out what you meant ???

Any word from Avid on this?
Would really be useful.

Looks like it has been requested 4 versions ago.

It would be a big help to see multiple playlists, and would be consistent operationally.

It's just down to Avid still only paying lip service to providing MIDI, there are so many bells and whistles we hav been waiting for, for years.

It's not like we are asking Avid to innovate, just give us proper playlist functionality, as per audio tracks. And in terms of other MIDI enhancements, well a quick look at the competition will give Avid plenty of ideas.

All we can do is ask Avid to "please" add these midi options at their earliest convenience.

It would make an already superb product, even better.

Cheers.

Comping MIDI tracks ... absolutely, of course, it's absurd that you can have multiple playlists on a MIDI or Instrument Track but don't have a playlist view to comp them.
