Pt9 crashes with Waves GTR3.5

Pro tools crashes when i insert Waves GTR 3.5 on a track.....or any of waves plugs.....

pro tools quit unexpectedly. Went thru delete prefs.....i called Waves.....remote with them on my computer..... they looked at the report and said that protools is the problem.......i use to have alot of problems with waves plugins of the same kind......so i stopped to use them.....but it is supposed to work right???

any idea?
