Globals not working on all groups

Hi,

I have global settings ticked for follow globals on every individual group and global settings for insert J ticked for controls and bypass.

I'm expecting all inserts in insert slot J to now follow controls and bypass, but they are not. the individual groups are still working like they are set to individual attributes for insert J but nothing is following globally

Im sure I've had this working in the past on every group or individual track, so not sure why its not working as expected.

In the group, where globals are not working : do they contain audio tracks of mono AND stereo format (or in general : different channel formats) ?

Hi,

Its none of the groups working as a whole? they work individually as a group but i was expecting all tracks in all groups to be controllable using the global setting. so control one plugin in insert J and all plugins in J would follow.

Individual attributes for each group is not activated just global settings are set for insert J so was expecting all inserts on J to be linked globally.

I know the mono and stereo tracks don't link and have to be controlled separately etc.

Does it happen with certain plugins only ? Even with the stock plugins ?
What kind of groups (mix / mix+edit) ?
Works fine on 10.3.7 HD.

Just to rule it out, don't want to question your knowledge (again) :
"Link Mix and Edit Group Enables" is not deselected and the edit/mix group was not enabled in the edit window ?
I know, you know that behaviour, but others might like the info.
