The same old story.....the last one..

LEXICON CUSTOMER SERVICE CALL # 129833

Lexicon does not directly support Lexiverb software. Digidesign has exclusive distribution rights and is responsible for support of Lexiverb software.

Yes, but Altiverb is not "tweakable" which may not be a big deal in some cases, but in others this will be a limitation.

We are always going to need a reverb that can be customized on the spot. I'll probably add Altiverb to my arsenal, but it won't be the only gun.

Altiverb does give my expensive out boards a good run but I understand the "Need To Tweak" Waves Ren Verb is the best sounding normal verb plugin to my ears with tweaking. I have never been able to get ANY gated verb to sound good by itself .

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I have generally been disapointed with TDM reverbs and consequently use a PCM91 for most of my critical verbs. However, I recently discovered (after reading other people's success with it) that the "non-lin" algorithm of Digidesign's D-Verb plug-in really isn't bad at all. On the last mix I did, I tried it on the drums and it sounded great. Best of all, it's free with HD. Give it try.
