Updating to 2.8.1 .... CD won't boot on reset

I am trying to update to 2.8 with the CD I purchased. I insert into the CD into the drive, reset the system, hold F10 and nothing happens. The system boots up normally back to 2.7.
Tried several times with 3 different keyboards, did the press, hold, repeat on the keyboard also.

Is there another way to update?

Bad disc? Will this disc mount when you put it into a PC or Mac? What files/folders are visible on the root level?

I had the same problem. Try to connect your keyboard directly to the mixrack USB-port. Then restart holding down F10
