Thanks for the link Dr Sound. U know of any good books or publications about Post I should look into. Its a audio field in really looking to get into.

- David Lewis Yewdall "Practical Art of Motion Picture Sound"

A very good and entertaining read. The guy really knows his stuff but comes across rather arrogant which is either amusing or annoying. Might not be everyone's cup of tea.

- John Purcell "Dialogue Editing for Motion Pictures"

- Hilary Wyatt & Tim Amyes "Audio Post Production in Television and Film"

There are some good books on 5.1 by Tomlinson Holman out there.
You should read them all.

www.filmsound.org is a great ressource.

The search function of the DUC is a great tool, too.

Both great books. But glad Im wasn't the only one who thought that about how the first one reads

Really good books though.
