Default rock drum kit definitions "What sound is what?"

i want to change the sound for my click track using the quicktime rock drum kit. the codes like C#3 and C-2, etc, what the hell do they mean? where can i get a list of them so i don't have to trial and error all of them?
i think this click issue has been solved with the new update, but i am still waiting for my registration to come through. is it my imagination or is it a pretty badly designed section of protools LE?

C#3 means the 3th octave above the middle c, c-2 means 2 octaves down the middle c. the sounds are connected with these keys. selcting c-1 is another sound than selecting c-2.it depends on the soundset your using, wahat sound is connected to what key.
greetings, tantejo

These are MIDI note designations - and in the case of percussion instruments, are used to determine what type of drum/cymbal/etc.. is used for the "hit".

If you do not have your drum synthesizer manual and can't get the info from their webpage, you can get a pretty good idea by stepping through the keys with a keyboard controller and listening to each note and "taking notes".
