Re: steinberg ur28m and pro tools 10
I think it will work GREAT! I use the MR816 CSX (2 of them) and they work GREAT with Pro Tools 10... Hope this helps.

Nexis can you elaborate on the extent of integration with PT and any drawbacks and solutions you may have? Just ordered a CSX and looking for some insight from other engineers on it. Thanks

Re: steinberg ur28m and pro tools 10
Well, I have to admit that you will have more functionality with your ur28m because Steinberg made the unit for their own product. There are things that you will be able to do right in Cubase. Lets put it this way ...The ur28m and Cubase will talk to each other better that with Pro Tools. For me, I use both Cubase and Pro Tools. I like using both for doing different things. For me, Pro Tools handles automation better than Cubase too :) Let me know if you have more questions... Also, try downloading the manual for the ur28m from the Steinberg web site.

Re: steinberg ur28m and pro tools 10
So do you use this product or the MR816CSX? I think there is some big differences in between that and the UR28! lol So basically I am wondering about how interfacing with the program works in pro tools. can I still use the CSX knobs and control things? Also will MR clash with Avid total mix program? Stuff like that I guess is what I am after. I am totally cool with using both apps. Right now I am thinking of using cubase and my recording prog and then bouncing to PT for mixing and editing. Thank you for responding!
