*******Temp fix for EUCON 23.6 slowdown********

It's been working fine for weeks until the tablet auto-updated to 23.6

I applied the code this morning, it seems that it's not disconnecting anymore from the Samsung Tab A I'm using.

I usually use the tablet in "Meters" mode, but the meters keep showing nothing.

I wonder if it could be related.

Maybe I spoke too soon. Tested well after installing updates but after working all day with the new versions, my system has suddenly become unstable. Protools quitting unexpectedly with no beach ball, just poof gone. Once tabbing between PT and Preview (with pdf script), once enabling input monitoring on a track and twice previewing processing with audiosuite plugins. Non of these scenarios have anything in common, nor are they repeatable. The previous versions PT 2023.3 and Eucon 2022_12_1_34 have been flawless for months, literally not a single crash that I remember. Suddenly I'm terrified of my next ADR session...yikes!


Has anyone else noticed that their system has suddenly become unstable after the 2023.6 update and plst patch?

It sounds like something else is at play. Also it sounds like PT?

True, it really does. It's confusing though because there have been absolutely no other changes to this computer, I'm not doing anything different, the sessions are not at all demanding and the crashes are happening with my very first session after updating. I don't have clients in the building for a few days so hopefully it will get sorted out.

The last version was stable as a rock for weeks.

I applied the lines to com.avid.eucon.plist, it seemed to work at first.

Yesterday it's been completely unstable again, tablet disconnecting and graphics refreshing slowly, S1 layout recalls not working…

Turning the tablet off seems the best solution for now.

I tried also to change the .plist file and while it solved my iPad disconnect issue it made the meters unuseably sluggish.
