No more double renewal ?

The last time I did the renewal for my friend we ad to pay for both The Update plan 99$US and for the Plugin and support plan 99$US but today I only see one option did something change or am I missing something ?

Now you only pay 99 for both.

We discontinued the Plug-In and Support Plan when the Avid Complete Plug-In Bundle was released since that provided a lot more plug-ins at half the price. Support was moved over to the Upgrade Plan. So it's a bit more simplified in that the main product/plan provides software releases & support, and there's an optional plug-in bundle.

This is actually pretty amazing, support has been invaluable this year (shout out to Osamu who answers absolutely everything I ask in detail, he's a legend), I was in two minds about sticking with PT due to some continued issues I have, but for $99 bucks to also get support if needed, I will do it indefinitely. Colour me impressed.

Are they improving the deal for HD owners, too??? Seems like they should. Pro Tools vanilla owners get VCAs an lots of other features. What are we HD users getting???

Not sure if this is what you were after, but HD/Ultimate renewal price was also reduced ($599 to $399), includes ExpertPlus Support, and now includes the Complete Plug-In Bundle.
