Books books books books books

Not too much on here about reading material, but just looking to see what you guys read to further your knowledge base.

I'm looking for my first career job in the industry. Since I know I'm a tad bit short on experience and portfolio, I could try to gain as much knowledge as possible. I have been reading everything online, but now I'm looking for more. I'm interested in post a lot, but am keeping my options open, looking for any opportunity.

So if anyone and advice, and can recommend a good book, so yet another site on post or mixing or mastering or engineering, or digital audio in general, that would be great. I'm looking for technical knowledge, or theory's on above subjects. Thanks in advance.

Check out "Mixing With Your Mind" by Michael Stavrou. Also "The Recording Engineer's Handbook" and "The Mixing Engineer's Handbook" by Bobby Owsinski.
