Default Search in Import dialogue

Having only recently moved from PT10 on OSX 10.8.5, I am now finding a minor niggle with my traditional file search method of using the import dialogue. We have a sound effects library on the facility network which I mount on the studio computer. Upon opening the Import Audio dialogue, I select the library and enter a search term, but it defaults to searching "This Mac".

Can I make it default to searching the selected share? It may be an OSX behaviour but I cannot make it behave any differently. It's only a minor thing but it did not behave this way in the old system.

What about using a Workspace Browser instead of the Import dialogue?

Maybe this will help...

Go to Finder Preferences, click on Advanced. At the bottom choose "Search the Current Folder".

I think OSX defaults to "Search this Mac"

laki and BScout - thought of that and tried it but it doesn't affect the behaviour within PT.

The Weed - I may start working that way, although historically I've found it slow and clunky. In fact I'm writing this as I'm waiting for it to find a particular sound... and waiting....

Workspace seems the go - once you let it index the drives.
