Soooo .... Pulled out ALL analog gear from Rack 1 which was the 4 Neve’s, 2 1176’s and 2 LA2-A’s and a Proreplica Bluestripe and a SSL Fusion and 2 Och ube Tech CL1b’s and 2 Tube Tech PE1C’s and redid all the connections and repatched every piece in that rack.

Same ****!! Then we just moved the Fusion to rack 4 aswe had 2U left on the bottom and now ALL humming and annoying noises are gone

Dont understand anything and talked to super techs at Lydkraft and Looptrotter aswell as the guy who service our SSL 4056 G+ every 3 months and no one has any explanation other than stop leaving patched gear that is turned off and another thesis was that these specific units are prone to signal disturbence from the Fusion and somewhere creeps into the chain in that rack and offends the gear that has the old trafos and whatnot!

Well atleast this issue is gone and all is QUIET as night in the desert.

Thanks to All for ideas and recommendations. We have a whole room dedicated to power management so we probably have the best shielding and power cleaners available as it cost more than a new upper level car

All the best and now all that is left is to screw everything back and reconnect with the corresponding cables .... *yawn* gonna take all night.

Who would not like to track via SSL and warm up via 2-inch and have that kind of analog arsenal available... not to mention milion dollar mic case

No worries. I know how mad you can get because of the hum. As you very well know I do a lot of live gigs and compared to you it is a nightmare every single time can appreciate the silence
