Default Pro Tools is not recognising my 002

Hi,

I have two IMAC G5s, an Mbox2 and Digi002. ProTools LE 7.1.1 is already installed on both IMACs. I've been told that one was installed with the Mbox2, and the other was installed with the 002. But although Protools works with the Mbox2 on both IMACs, it won't recognise the 002 on either one.

When I plug in the 002, the IMAC recognises it, and if I go to System Preferences, and look under sound, the 002 is visible. However, if I open ProTools, I'm only offered Inputs 1 and 2 and the S/PDIF L and R as input options, as if it was running an Mbox2. In addition, as soon as ProTools is open, the 002 disappears from the sound section of the system preferences.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Max
