Problem installing PT LE 6.4 on XP

I have a HP Pavilion 6730, upgraded from Win 98SE to XP. I added RAM to 384 MB total (I can't get 512 MB to work.) I installed Pro Tools and M-Box, but when I go to start up ProTools I get an error message "The procedure entry point _IsWindowsKeyDown@0 could not be located in the dynamic link library KeyFilter.dll." and when I click Ok, it comes up with "Error Starting Program, A required DLL file, File.dll, was not found.

Can anyone help? I haven't been able to find anything on this error online.

You probably need the XP SP2 fix for Pro Tools...

I installed the Pro Tools LE 6.4cs9 update from Digidesign, still the same problem. Any other ideas?

Try reinstalling PT, or use repair.

Unfortunately I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and repairing and still the same problem.

Then, if that doesn't help, post as much information about your system as you can; all hardware, all software installed, etc.

Also, you might want to check the 6.4 mBox Compatibility page

Some HP Pavilion models do not meet the minimum requirements as listed in these compatibilitiy documents. Before purchasing these or any computer, please carefully go over these documents and the exact specifications of the computer to make certain that all of the compatibility guidelines have been met
