Drumcore and PT 12 - loss of sound
I have been using PT and Drumcore for years, many versions...now with DC 3 and PT 12, the sound disappears after I drag and drop a DC audio file.
I typically open up a new session, and drag and drop a DC audio file into a track. It will play once, then the sound disappears if I play it a second or 3rd time. Drumcore said: When dragging from DrumCore to an audio track, DrumCore is creating a file in the Render folder (C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\DrumCore\Render) and the drop action in ProTools is just receiving a path to that file. At which point, DrumCore is no longer involved in the playback of that file. There is a preference setting in ProTools to copy files into the session or not. You could try changing that. You could also look at the clip bin to see where ProTools thinks the file is. But DrumCore is not part of audio file playback in ProTools. I'm using a HP ProBook 450 G6 i7 1.99GHz 64 Bit Windows10 Pro Thanks in advance for any comments |
