yeah same direction, just a little more of a live feel. that "2 birds vs. one stone" album they did sounds a pretty stale compared to their live set.

thats cool man, I had a chance to catch MV live in Detroit up this way a while back, but didn't make it out due to scheduling stuff. Saw the original vids for ATDI and they got pretty wild with their live show from what I could tell on there. lol

Evening all tea lovers,
There are a small handful of privately owned recording studios left in Toronto, that are doing well. Strangely, their owners mostly have Italian sounding names..
The big, corporation owned facilities and the other half of private places are gone.
When I was looking for a new home about 10 years ago, I approached this dude, and we had a talk. He didn't really need my gear, he had plenty. And I didn't feel truly comfortable forming a relationship, for reasons I rather not disclose. So, I ended up in another Italian owned, lesser known but still busy and profitable place.
So..just watching the news...and there is a full size bus crashed into a building this morning. It turns out to be dude #1's studio, Cherry Beach. He is all over the local media..talking about the devastation to his "North Americas" best studio..how to rebook his big name clients, and the historical, as well as the multi million $$ equipment value being in danger.
Anyhow, however terrible an accident can be..this one hits me a bit funny. It is not known, how the bus ended up there..there was no call made for 911 or any assistance.

Oh..and while you there check out some other juicy news bits from my town..never a dull moment.
