Command|8 Potentiometer Replacement

I'm told that there have been companies that replace the pots in the C|8 with higher quality ones and slap on better knobs. Does anyone know what pots are being used? I'd like to do this mod myself.

Here's a link to one on Ebay with such a mod - I'm told that a store in Portland did the mod for him.

Edit - Turns out this was false. No one replaces the pots in these.

However, I'm curious about replacing the faders in the C|8 with the ones in the D-Command. Does anyone know what connections are used and if it's possible to mod them? I realize there's a big price difference - $250 USD each in the D-Command or so - but this would be an interesting idea.
