Eleven Rack window not showing. 8.0.3cs1
I finally got around to trying to get my Eleven Rack to work with my HD rig running 8.0.3cs1 on XP service pack 3. I plugged in the USB, the install drivers dialog came up. I clicked automatically find, it found the Eleven Rack drivers and said the hardware was good to go. When I load up Pro Tools though I can't get the Eleven Rack window to show up. Also the Eleven Rack plugins are in my plugins folder but arent showing up as options for inserts in Pro Tools. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Eleven Rack window not showing. 8.0.3cs1
Hey Digi I spent an hour and a half on hold in order to speak to someone for technical support yesterday. Of course nobody ever picked up. For those interested I took a screen shot of it on my iPhone. So anyway since I can't get through can you please help me on the forum! My Eleven Rack window will not show up in Pro Tools HD. HELP!

Re: Eleven Rack window not showing. 8.0.3cs1
I have found a fix for this after about a week of trying everything I could think of. I built my own studio computer and it DID NOT have a soundcard in it. Finally after trying everything else I put a soundcard in (Sound Blaster Audigy Value), installed the drivers from Creative, and sure enought the Eleven Rack window came right up. This was definitly the problem, there must be something installed with "regular" sound card drivers that the Eleven Rack needs to open the command window. So with that said, if you dont have a sound card installed get a cheap one and install it, it should work. If you already have a sound card installed I would reinstall it with new drivers and try that. Anyway it works perfectly for me now so that was definitly the problem, I hope this works for others as well. On a side note, enabling the motherboards onboard audio DID NOT fix the problem, I actually had to install a PCI sound card and install drivers for it. My guess is Digidesign created/tested the Eleven Rack on computers with sound cards installed and didnt realize theres something about the sound card, or its driver, that is necessary for the eleven rack command window to open. Anyway best of luck and please let me know if this solves your problem. This was like fighting a war figuring this out so I hope it does you some good haha
