no output sound on Mbox 2 pro, windows 7

I installed pro tools 8.0.3 and the Mbox 2 pro and cannot get any audio output. I'm getting an input signal in my track. I tried to change settings on my HP but nothing works. When I switch off the mbox I get a pop sound on my monitor, so I know its connected right. Can someone please help me with this. Its frustrating. I can record into the track also, but I get no sound out of playback. Thank you.

I'm getting deja-vu here. Lots of people suddenly having this problem with the Mbox 2 Pro nowadays, regardless of OS. Have Digi recognized this issue yet?

All I can say is that the thing that usually works for me is to power off the Mbox, power it up again, and then start PT. You have probably tried that already, though.

Ive tried everything in different sequences and nothing.

im gonna try uninstalling the program completly and start from scratch and re-install it. My fingers are crossed.

Wow. I Uninstalled PT8.0.3, and re-installed it. I opened up the program first, then plugged in the Mbox 2 pro without the power cable (Only the firewire cable) and im getting complete sound!!!!!!!!!! It's on and poppin'
