Default Will Any Drum Software Out There Work With LE 6.4

I am running 6.4 with a Digi001 on an old Sawtooth G4. It looks like Strive, Toontracks and BFD all need LE 7.X. I have really good wav samples on a CD titled "Brush Artistry" but I am tired of building drum tracks from scratch by pasting kick hits on 1 & 3, snare on 2 & 4 and then repeating that measure. The patterns on the CD are not always exactly what I am looking for.

I don't have a MIDI keyboard or a trigger pad.

1. Can anyone share a relatively easy way to compose patterns for drums and then use the samples I already have?

2. Is there any drum pattern creation software out there that is compatible with LE 6.4?

Thanks,
bilco

You can use BFD with 6.4. I'm doing exactly that right now. Works quite nicely.

An older version of Reason or Reason adapted from Propellerheads

When I looked at the download for it, it said it has to be on OSX Tiger; I am running 10.3.9 Panther.

Its funny I just finished installing thee full version of BFD.

According to the box its good back to 10.2.8.

Banjohut has it on sale so I sprung for the upgrade.

A full older version of Reason would be good to.

I'm not sure if the current Reason drum refills are compatible with the older full version of Reason so that would be something to look into. I know they won't work with Reason Adapted.

OK, I'll download the demo and give it a try.
