ProTools with Tascam TM-D8000 (TDIF)?

G'day all,
I am setting up a small studio with the following:

Apple Mac G4
Pro Tools Digi 001
Tascam TM-D8000 console..

I want to be able to use the TM-D8000 console with Pro Tools. How would you do this?
Is there a TDIF - Adat convertor or something similar to be able to use the TDIF outputs on the console?

I am also looking at upgrading in the very near future to a TDM system - what sort of costs ($AUS)are involved to add to my existing setup with some second hand Mix cards and TDM plug-ins? Again I would be using the TM-D8000 console with this system.

At the moment I am looking at options and the best way to set-up the studio with the G4 and console.

Yes, there are TDIF to ADAT converters out there. Apogee used to make one, the FC8, but I don't think they're still making it. Tascam's making one too.
